BRAC University

Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Dhaka, Bangladesh

  • CSE461: Introduction to Robotics
Covered fundamental concepts including robot kinematics (forward and inverse), motion planning, and mobile robot navigation.

  • CSE461L: Robotics Laboratory
Designed and conducted weekly hands-on laboratory sessions focusing on practical robotics workflows, tools, and system integration to bridge theory with real-world applications.

  • Student Supervision and Mentorship
Supervised undergraduate robotics projects, conducted tutorials, and provided structured office-hour mentoring to guide students through problem-driven implementations.

Workshops and Training

  • ROS 2 Workshop (2023)
Department of Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka
Delivered hands-on training on ROS 2 architecture, simulation, visualization tools, and programming for both simulated and physical robots.

  • NAO Robot Workshop (2022)
Department of Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka
Conducted a one-day workshop introducing students to programming and operating the NAO humanoid robot.

Mentorship and Outreach

  • Mentor, Bangladesh Robot Olympiad (BdRO) (2018–2023)
Mentored competitive robotics teams annually, with teams achieving silver and bronze awards at the International Robotics Olympiad (IRO).

  • Judge, National Science Carnival (2023)
Served as a judge for the Line Following Robot segment at Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC).

My teaching philosophy emphasizes strong theoretical foundations combined with hands-on experimentation, encouraging students to develop intuition, discipline, and confidence in building real robotic systems.
